The SMARTY XL is designed the same exact way as the SMARTY 2.0, albeit about 10% bigger. The size is modeled after roughly a 6'2'' (187 cm) human shape. If it were a human, it would weigh roughly 192 lbs (87 kg).

If you would like to suit it up, we recommend a size A5 Gi.

The Details

The Pre-Filled SMARTY XL weighs about 63 lbs (28 kg). It is filled with mostly recycled fabric, as well as a bit of Polyester Filling in the feet and hands.

It comes in a cardboard box 20" x 20" x 27".

Once shipped, the total transit time will depend on your location as well as the shipping option you select at checkout.

Also, please note that depending on your location, some additional duty charges might be requested upon delivery from the shipping company.

Just buy it, you won’t regret it

I purchased a prefilled Smarty XL and fit an A5 fuji Gi on it perfectly and the belt is more of a fuji A3 length (just for future reference for other customers 116”). I have to say the XL is amazing. It’s a great supplemental training tool, and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to practice at home. The build quality is the best I have encountered, this thing will take a beating. It’s so amazing my 6 year old asked for his own kid version so we could train together at home. So, late last night I ordered a prefilled Smarty Kid. Yes, they are expensive, but it has been a huge help with drilling and re-drilling in between classes what I am learning at the academy.

The dummy is incredibly versatile and durable, making it the perfect partner for nearly every submission. You can also practice throws and takedowns with it. The body of the dummy is made of high-quality materials that have held up against intense training sessions without any signs of wear and tear.

One of the things I love most about the Smarty XL grappling dummy is its realistic design, which includes a neck, torso, and limbs that closely resemble those of a human. This has allowed me to work on my technique with much greater accuracy and precision, which has translated into significant improvements in my actual sparring matches.
